About the event
The sisters of the Sigma Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® - the Pearls of the South Bay – cordially invite our Sorority Sisters, family, friends, and community members to help us celebrate SPO’s thirty-five years of Sisterhood, Service, and Impact in Torrance, CA, the South Bay, and our greater community. To commemorate this special occasion, we want you to “ease on down the road” to Emerald City for our 35 th Emerald Anniversary Extravaganza at
the historic Wilfandel Club.
Our Extravaganza will feature an Emerald green and gilded evening of dancing, dinner, a celebratory toast, entertainment, giveaways, and so much more! Best of all–partial proceeds from our celebration will be dedicated to our chapter scholarships – which support college-bound high school seniors in the South Bay. So put on your Emerald City – Wiz-inspired (cocktail) attire get ready to party for a PURPOSE!
